Partially verified - DNTCP Division des Assurances market report for 2019 names all twelve companies then licensed; the supervisor's 2023 annual report counts thirteen licensed companies for 2022 but names none · Republique du Mali, Ministere de l'Economie et des Finances, Direction Nationale du Tresor et de la Comptabilite Publique (DNTCP), Division des Assurances: "Rapport annuel du marche de l'assurance du Mali - exercice 2019". Section I (page 7): "En 2019, huit (08) societes non vie ont exerce sur le marche malien de l'assurance" - Assurances Bleues (CNAR), Assurances LAFIA S.A., SABU NYUMAN, SAHAM Assurances Mali, NALLIAS S.A., NSIA Assurances Mali, SUNU Assurances Mali, ATLANTIQUE Assurances Mali (AAM). Section II (page 25): "En 2019, quatre (04) societes vie ont opere sur le territoire national" - SONAVIE, NSIA VIE, SAHAM VIE, CIF ASSURANCES VIE MALI. Annexe 5 (page 64) repeats the same twelve. Cross-check: the same directorate's "Rapport annuel DNTCP 2023" (page 33) records that it received the annual returns of "treize (13) compagnies d'assurance agreees au Mali ... neuf (09) societes Non Vie et quatre (04) societes Vie" for financial year 2022, without naming them.
Reconciled against the DNTCP Division des Assurances market report for 2019, the latest report that names Mali's licensed companies (eight non-life, four life). All five rows matched and four class codes corrected from composite to general, since the supervisor licenses life and non-life separately; seven companies added. No row removed: the named list is from 2019, and the DNTCP's own 2023 annual report counts thirteen licensed companies for 2022 without naming them, so the register is not current enough to establish a departure.
