Reconciled against the Central Bank of Somalia's press release of 27 January 2026, which names the four first-ever licensed takaful companies. The single existing row, Takaful Insurance of Africa (Somalia), is not among them and was removed; the four licensees were added. The CBS took over insurance supervision under the Islamic Insurance (Takaful) Law of May 2025 and publishes no standing register page.
