Renamed First Insurance Company to Mirai General Insurance (rebranded 2025 after Pride Global acquired it), Sanlam to Sanlam Allianz on both licences, and UAP Old Mutual to Old Mutual on both. Removed Jubilee Allianz General (merged into Sanlam General, IRA approval Aug 2025), Jubilee Health (amalgamated into Jubilee Life, IRA approved, policies transferred) and Grand Micro (absent from the Aug 2026 list). Added AAR General Insurance Uganda, Futureline Micro Insurance, Tamini General Insurance (the sole takaful operator) and CASE Med Insurance (the sole HMO). Ownership is not established for the last three, so they carry no parent. IRA's Jan 2026 press release counted 3 micro-insurers; the August company list carries 4
