La Asociación Internacional de Supervisores de Seguros (IAIS) publica los grupos que los supervisores de grupo han identificado conforme a su Marco Común (ComFrame). Cuando uno de ellos es la matriz última de una entidad autorizada de este directorio, la entidad y su grupo llevan la marca IAIG.

Criterios del ComFrame

Un supervisor de grupo identifica a un grupo como IAIG cuando esinternacionalmente activo, con primas suscritas en tres o más jurisdicciones y al menos el 10 % de las primas brutas suscritas fuera de su jurisdicción de origen, ygrande, con activos totales de al menos 50 000 millones de USD o primas brutas suscritas de al menos 10 000 millones de USD en media móvil de tres años. Los supervisores pueden aplicar su criterio en ambos sentidos.

¿Qué es un Grupo Asegurador Internacionalmente Activo (IAIG)?

Un grupo asegurador que su supervisor de grupo ha identificado, conforme al Marco Común (ComFrame) de la IAIS, como internacionalmente activo (primas suscritas en tres o más jurisdicciones, con al menos el 10 % de las primas brutas suscritas fuera de la jurisdicción de origen) y grande (activos totales de al menos 50 000 millones de USD o primas brutas suscritas de al menos 10 000 millones de USD en media móvil de tres años). El supervisor puede además aplicar su criterio en cualquiera de los dos sentidos.

¿Quién mantiene la lista de IAIG?

La Asociación Internacional de Supervisores de Seguros (IAIS) publica un registro elaborado a partir de las comunicaciones de los supervisores de grupo, actualizado al menos una vez al año. Esta página refleja el registro a fecha de 3 de junio de 2026 y enumera los 59 grupos de 19 jurisdicciones.

¿Cómo vincula el directorio los IAIG con las aseguradoras?

Cada IAIG se asocia a los nombres de grupo matriz utilizados en el directorio cuando el IAIG es la matriz última que ejerce el control. Toda entidad autorizada bajo esas matrices lleva la marca IAIG. Las empresas conjuntas minoritarias no se vinculan, y la marca no modifica nunca el ramo, el tipo de titularidad ni el estado de verificación de una entidad.
